I was very grateful to be invited to speak once again at this month’s UX Talk Tokyo, one of my favourite regular events in the city. It was hosted by the fine folks from Indeed at their nice Ebisu Garden Place office.
Here’s a video of my talk:
Tom Coombs and Ryan Barkataki have done a fantastic job building UX Talk Tokyo into an incredible event series and community over the last few years. I’ve personally had the pleasure of seeing it grow from its very first edition with just a handful of attendees back in 2013, to one of the hottest (every event sells out of spaces in a matter of minutes!) places to be on the UX scene in Tokyo.
This is a testament to the inclusive, relaxed and friendly nature of Tom and Ryan, and also the entire Tokyo UX community. It’s without a doubt my favourite event to speak at, and I’m already looking forward to my next opportunity to talk!

And finally, I’ve really enjoyed working with React Native so far, and would love the opportunity for our team to work on more projects with it. So if you’re looking for some help with your React Native project, or any other cool projects that would benefit from our research, design or development help, please get in touch!
And if you’re new here, you should check out some of the recent work we’ve done!
